Abidin Dino
By the 1960s, Abidin Dino's fame had already spread beyond Paris and reached an international audience. In 1960, the artist traveled to Rome to observe and illustrate the Olympic Games for Lettres Françaises. He returned with numerous drawings, not only of the athletics competitions but also of the Turkish wrestling team, which was highly successful at the time.
